Each month, Waterloo Schools recognizes Year One and Year Two teachers who are new to the teaching profession. Teachers are nominated by their building administration and/or instructional coaches.

She is able to motivate students to try their best. Alicia also supports her coworkers by serving on the building SEL team and facilitating learning and discussion.
