Are you eligible for free district transportation?

  • Elementary students (K-5) who live more than 1 mile from their boundary school
  • Middle school students (6-8) who live more than 2 miles from their boundary school
  • High school students (9-12) who live more than 3 miles from their boundary school
  • Students who have transportation included in their Individual Education Plan (IEP)
  • Students whose walking route is considered a hazard (Elementary Students ONLY)

Special Education Student Transportation

    • Special education students follow the same guidelines as regular education students, unless, transportation is included in their IEP. Special education students who do not meet the state mileage guidelines or have transportation included in their IEP will have the option to apply for discretionary transportation. Discretionary transportation is not guaranteed and is limited to route and space availability.
