Mission and Vision

At Hoover Middle School, our mission and vision is to Influence the World, Serve Others, and Save Lives. What exactly does that mean? We believe in a visible vision that makes sense:

1. Influence the World:  We want the world to become a better place from having our students walk through it.

2. Serve Others: We want our students to grow into servant hearted people who lessen the suffering of others and make the world a better place through leadership and character.

3. Save Lives: Every student who walks through our school will either become a taxpayer or tax burden. We believe that each student and adult can influence this decision for every child, every day.

Core Values and DNA
Our vision and mission is driven by our core values. We call this our DNA because it is the lifeblood that courses through Hoover Middle School each and everyday.

   We believe in keeping students and children at the heart of every decision that is made.

   We believe that when we do the small things well, the big things take care of themselves.
3. We are leaders
   We believe that leadership is defined as communicating others’ worth and potential so clearly, they are inspired to see it in themselves.

   We believe in a simple concept: “Ohana”-Nobody gets left behind.
5.  We believe in growth
   We believe in the potential for every student and staff member at Hoover to continue to grow each and everyday.
