Welcome

Hello Carver orchestra families. I am Todd Williams, the GWCA orchestra director. I have a bachelor’s degree in violin performance from the University of Minnesota, 2 years of Suzuki pedagogy training, 23 years music lesson teaching experience, and almost 40 years of experience learning and performing. I want to create an inclusive environment of string instrument learning here at Carver.

About Us

We have separate orchestra classes for each grade level and 2 combined concerts per year. We also have collaborative trips with other school to UNI’s Performing Arts Center and Waterloo high schools for 7th and 8th grade orchestras.
