Hour of Code

The week of December 7th – 11th is the global event called The Hour of Code. Students from around the world learn the basics of coding using the website www.code.org. “The Hour of Code is a one-hour introduction to computer science, designed to demystify code and show that anybody can learn the basics,” according to their website. At Lincoln, students in grades 1st through 5th spent time during this week not only learning the  basics of computer science put also sharpening their problem solving skills, logic, and creativity.
