What time does school start and when do I drop off my child?

Doors open at 8:30 a.m.  K-5 students are able to pick up breakfast (if they choose) and enter classrooms.  Students will be counted tardy if they arrive after 9:10 a.m.

What time does school get out?

The school day ends at 3:45 p.m. for all K-5 students.

Where does my child enter the building?

K-5 students come into the building at the main entrance.

Prek students enter on the right of the building, through the doors after the open fence.

How do I pick up my child early?

-If you need to pick your child up from school early, call the main office to let the know when you will be arriving.  This will allow time for them to get your child and their items to the main office.  Once you arrive, you can either call the office to let them know or come up to the main doors and press the buzzer.  Someone from the office will bring your child out and ask you to sign them out on the log.

Can I come in the building?–

Not at this time.  In past years, parents and families have been able to enter the building in the morning.  Due to COVID and our work to keep all students safe, parents may not enter the building at this time.

How can I reach my child’s teacher?

Email and telephone are the best ways to reach your child’s teacher.  Some teachers even use Seesaw or Class Dojo.  If you call during school hours (8:30-3:45), you will be transferred directly to the teachers voicemail since they will be with the students during this time.  Please leave a voicemail so they are able to call you back as soon as they are possible.

What do I do if I need to keep my child home for the day?

Call the office right away in the morning (try before 8:30 a.m.) to let them know.  If you have a note from the doctor, please send it with your child the next day.

How much does breakfast and lunch cost for my student?

Breakfast and lunch are FREE for all students.

Can I send treats to school for my child’s class?

Yes, but they must be store bought and individually packaged.
